About us

Who we are

We are a small Danish NGO working with local partners in East Africa and South Asia to support people whose lives are threatened by climate change.

We work where we know the people, the cultures and the challenges. Our journey began in Tanzania in 2014, supporting vulnerable communities through a water project and two circular economy initiatives. By 2025, with a growing member base, we launched a climate resilience project in Bangladesh – and plan to resume activities in Tanzania in the near future.

Our approach

We reach the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities.

We support ethnic and religious minorities, Indigenous peoples, and other marginalised groups whose voices are often unheard and whose access to support and resources is limited. We work with respect for diverse identities and local knowledge, ensuring our efforts are inclusive and culturally sensitive

We build capacity alongside trusted local partners.

We apply practical, hands-on solutions that respond to local needs and initiatives. Our tailored learning modules and experiential methods ensure that even the most marginalized can participate, learn and lead. We empower communities to adapt and thrive over time.

Our Principles

  1. Leave No One Behind
We prioritise the most marginalised and climate-vulnerable communities, ensuring that no one is excluded from support and opportunity.

  2. Human Rights-Based Approach
We promote equality, participation, transparency and accountability in everything we do, guided by international human rights standards.

  3. Do No Harm
We work carefully to avoid reinforcing inequalities, triggering conflict, or placing additional burdens on those already under the greatest pressure.

  4. Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment
We focus on women and girls, while applying a holistic gender approach that engages men and ensures inclusion for all.
